Are there Visual Dev studio library updates?

Hello, I have Visual Dev 97/VC++ 5 and was wondering if I could update my libraries/.h files/documentation, or do I have to go buy VC++6 to get access to the newest gdi functions such as TransparentBlt? I searched microsofts site but couldn't find anything that would update my libraries, only a service pack for bug fixes ( which I installed ) The only other way I can think of doing it would be ( example for TransparentBlt ): 1. create msimg32.lib from msimg32.dll 2. modify wingdi.h so that TransparentBlt is defined But I sure wouldn't want to do that every time I wanted to use some new function included in win98/2000... hopefully someone can point me to a download site that I missed? ao Edited by - ao on 6/14/00 5:39:09 PM
