PRG Character Wanted

I currently making a RPG game. As was wondering if anybody would beable to created a character for me, seen how i keep getting writers block. Thnks From Jono

Jono - starting an RPG without an idea is not smart. You will have no direction in your development, because you don''t know what you''re aiming for. I''d suggest trying to write a story first, do some basic design, and then come back to actually programming the game.

Well, that means you have a plot, not a story. As MKV suggested, go back and write the story, especially if this a traditional style RPG. That''s because the story is the heart of the RPG and essentially dictates how and what everything else is developed.

Character and Story are inextricably tied. Your character''s motivation should derive from the plot and the plot should derive from his motivation. If what you say is true and you have planned out a series of ebents without first creating a character personality to guide them, you will find the player feels he is being herded through a game....

This reminds me of some of the horror stories I heard from a friend who worked as an editor at an indy comic publisher. Some of the submissions . . . . . .

I''m just working on the engine at the moment, to work with bitmap collision and items, magic etc...
So it''s a very small story line. The guys name is Oakley and he is a kid. He beats the boss and gets a sword. Then the game is complete. I was wondering if anybody could help me with the story, like where he came from and what he is in search for. The next game will be massive. As i said it''s a small story line.
