I just took a look... very professional work! Well done!

It''s pretty hard the first couple of games...once you get used to it it''s not too bad though, until you start to get all the special blocks in the levels!

One minor gripe - spare a thought for those of us that want to run the game at greater than 800x600! Although I guess if that''s the native resolution of the (nicely antialiased) sprites, it wouldn''t change anything... on second thoughts, no gripe.

Thanks for trying it out.
Yeah, you hit the nail on the head there - the sprites wouldn''t look much better because the screen res would be higher than the sprite images.
We thought about having higher res images but trying to get it below a 10MB download was just too difficult.

Cheers!

It''s a really nice, professional looking game. It''s easy to get the hang of. A couple little things. During the loading, the music loops seemed skip at after each loop. Also, whenever I encountered a new type of block, I of course had no idea what it would do and I lost several lives because of it. On the first few levels, it might be good to add some sort of description for them.

Hi,

We''re currently changing the arcade (Island Hop) mode quite a bit
The Simplex set that comes with the demo was originally a ''sort of'' tutorial, but then we decided to make it a bit more challenging. Turns out that now its neither a good representation of the main aracade levels, OR a good tutorial!

The plan at the moment is to make the first (Simplex) set much easier and code it to play more like a tutorial (like the puzzle mode), and maybe give a whole other set to play through properly.
One downside to this idea is that then we''re giving away a lot of levels...

Interesting that people here seemed to play the arcadey mode more than the puzzle mode, opposite to what we''ve seen elsewhere.

Cheers,
Ciaran
