Time for some feedback before major screw up... Webpage Screenshots Download Zip Bugs or suggestions are welcome :0

Well my first suggestion would be to have the first level of the zip a folder as opposed to the app and a resource folder. Call me lazy but it's just so much smoother for a quick test. :-p

EDIT: Rid of error on my monitor's settings behalf.

Hmm. Nevermind, it was my bizarre aspect ratio setting. I'm getting ~275fps with a few other things running.

How do you move? It would be more intuitive for me if w,a,s,d moved and maybe space or such attacked. Or perhaps if the camera constrols were shift and mouse or such. I'm not really sure.

Looks very nice though. Good work.

If a plant cannot live according to its nature, it dies; so a man.
That's nice.

I'm getting around 410fps upon starting the game up (amd2200/512/9700pro). The text display is a bit grotty looking, it looks like the font is being antialiased or scaled? All of the text is rather hard to read. A little more range on the ground lighting would be good I think. Nice animation on the skeletons.

Theres a pretty comprehensive guide to controls etc on the website by the way in case anyone struggles.

Thanks, I had found them when I came back to my comp.

Anyway, I had to plug in my keyboard (on a laptop) as I'm not a fan of the function key + numpad I have to use. It's up to you but that could be a turn off for someone on a laptop.

Thanks for the feedback,

Woodsman,
I never realized that laptops don't have numpad anymore. I thought it was nice how the numpad keys have an arrangement that I can draw easily on screen. I will let you config the keys

I am not sure what you mean about the font. The font is scaled. The default resolution of this version is 640x480, when you maximize the window, the resolution does not change. You can change the resolution to 1024x768 in Resource\Config.h though.

One thing I want to know, is about how you fight.
- Do you feel the differences among the different actions?
- Do you just press the attack keys randomly.
- How much do you exploit the weaknesses of the AI?
- Does the current set of actions allow a fun 1v1 pvp?

Some graphics cards automatically blur images that are scaled, so they won't look pixelated. That might be what the problem is.
I have updated the program to allow key assignment. To change the assignment, hit F1 to the game menu, and then click on the [KeyConfig] text button. There are three default configuration, and you can also edit it yourself. If you think that your preference should be a default, please let me know.
