Hi, I''ve been working on the car physics for our project, and I''ve finally updated my home page with some ''action'' shots. A little feed-back will be nice :-) Later Matt Check out my project at:www.btinternet.com/~Matthew.Bennett ---------------------- OR Netscape users go here.

looks nice,
will it be an ordinary racing game or some different thing ?

ATM we have no set target for the final game , although we are working towards a free-roaming, mission based game (like Driver), that could change. I am concentrating on creating a driving simulation first.

The most interesting idea I have is to compile the game code seperately from the physics and 3d engines. This will allow others to code ''game-play'' mods in the same way as we can for Quake.

Does that sound like a good idea?

Cheers

Matt

Those shots seems familiar to me. I guess U R using morfit software (world builder). Any way hope it turn into a cool game.
Boss_Sephiroth!

I''M INSULTED!

It''s taken me months to develop my tools and 3d code, what you see there is all my own work, from the AutoCAD drawings through to the 3d engine.

Oh well, maybe it''s my own fault

The levels and buildings are VERY simplistic at the moment, but they are only ''test areas'' to prove the conversion tools, 3d and physics code. We have some very smart looking buildings in the pipe-line (in fact I''ll add them to the screen shots right now!), and the world design is currently a very hot topic between Auburn and myself.

Still, when it comes to publishing time, I''ll gladly open my source code to the publisher - Ain''t nothin'' but me, VC and the good old DX SDK!

Bye

Matt

Sorry about that but if U look at this U would accept that your building model and their's are just alike.

Yeah, I appreciate that.

Interesting link, looks like they have some good tools, maybe if I knew about them six months ago I wouldn't of done all my own! But hey, isn't that half the fun?

Actually you're comment has motivated me quite a lot! We really must sort out the level design and release that demo....

Cheers

Matt
