ok...now that i got that last post off of my chest, here is my question. I just finished designing menu screens and the ui for a game at the moment. I just wanted to make sure that I am using the right resolution. I did everything at 800x600, figuring that it was the most used screen resolution. ive checked all of the websites with the stats, but i just wanted to hear from any of you if you have come across any problems with any certain resolutions. should i go 640x480, just to play it safe? also, just for future reference...how do you incorporate moving parts/animations into your user interface if it has nothing to do with the other aspects of the game. would you use an image sequence(i assume). also...what would be the most common fps for this? i am just curious about this. -Luxury

Had some really interesting points about 640x480 vs. 800x600 and so on... I would highly suggest reading it...
