Pentium M processor speed question.

I wanted to ask anyone who has either used various Pentium M processors or has knowledge of them a question :) Is there a noticable speed difference between the 2Ghz, 2.13Ghz, and 2.26Ghz?

For standard use? Probably not. Like most processor speed differences you wont really notice unless you use a lot of cpu intensive applications and measure the difference. It usualy amounts to a few seconds (depending on the application) difference with that small of a gap in cpu speed.
Great, I knew that was the case with regular P4 processors but I wasn't sure how Ghz measured up with the M processors and/or if I would be missing out on any features. I might actually go with the 2.26 in the end though even if the difference if only a few seconds, as with a few VSNETs open, office, visio, etc I use up a lot of RAM and processing power.

Thanks :)
ive been very happy with the performance of my pentium M. its only 1400mhz, but ive never run into its limitations yet.
I've got a 2Ghz Pentium M - seems just as fast as everything else.
My laptop (which also happens to be used for everything now that im in uni, even a gaming machine!!!) has a 1.73 Pentium M in it, and it runs very well in my eyes, even runs most games smoothly, and id estimate about 30 seconds to startup (that's when having a few progs run at startup)
Thanks guys :) The price difference between the 2Ghz and 2.26Ghz is $480 so if its a relatively small increase I'll probably stick with the 2.0
Definitely a smart idea to save the money. I'm running a 1.86, and my biggest bottleneck is hard drive access times. Whenever I notice a slowdown, I can look down and see the HDD LED lit up. (The only exception is Half-Life 2 at 1920x1200 with a very busy scene; that puts a good strain on the graphics card.)
