I just made the transition from dev-c++ to Visual Studio 2005 (because I heard that it's the industry standard). First off, I spent a load of money on this freeking thing and I can't even get it to compile premade programs. Can someone please explain to me how I compile my code and turn it into an .exe file? The only way I can see the output it when I first "build solution" then finally go to debug. I'm going to go crazy can someone help me out please. MSDN is useless. EDIT: I'm creating a basic window (using win32 class not console stuff) I have a .rc resource file attached (to create an icon with my app), not using command line and no errors are found in the program. It's just not creating the .exe file. Okay nevermind.. I found out that It always puts the .exe into another directory. :D OH BOY! [Edited by - Instigator on November 11, 2006 11:07:08 AM]
