-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Game name: Danaterinio (maybe) So far i have been preparing a design document so here it is: SYSTEM FACTS: DEFINETALLY 3D AND ONLINE.... MORE TO COME SOON.... The story line is: Fairly much a game i do not want it to be in any set time most mmorpgs are not part of any big story but have set them selfs in a timeperoid even more don't tell what the time peroid is. My game would be in the late 1700's eraly 1800's with some modren things thatn did not exist then to make the game even funner like paint or missiles. It shall go into more detail with my design document witch I hope shall be 30 40 pages long or so !!! This is not at all even close to being done so don't complain or ask bad questions. Currency: Token (base currency) Deben (worth 4 tokel) Gold coin (worth 100 deben) Platinum coin (worth 3 gold) - - I want to intruduce a new thorey to a mmorpg. The idea is that most games have many new ways to introduce new money runescape has high alchemy low alchimey and selling to npc players not to mention drops and quest/treasure trail rewards. The more money a place has ... the less valuable money is. - - So i presume why not make a finite ( no i did not mean to put infinite ) amount of money but wait, more and more people join a game right? Well make a mint building it the games capital " city " a actuall building you may enter possible steel stuff from if you have a high enough level. CONFUSING YOU SAY it is not read below: Well think of this a button in your options menu says auto convery it is starting out in the "yes" position.... What does it do.....DUH! it converts automatically if you want it to. Formulas confusing well: One tokal worth about runescape 150 gp ( there is no way to make a fixed number though ) is the base unit right. One platnium coin is worth 900 tokal right? One platnium is worth rs 120000 gp to put it all in place for you. To just put it all in place for you right now. Where did the MAGIC SKILL go read below: Well there are mainly two types of magic spells ina ny good game. Econimic (spelled worng probally) and offencive right? Examples are: Economic are "bones to bananas", "bones to peaches", and more popular,"low alchamey", and lastly, "high alchemy". Offencive is like bolts and blasts and tangles and such etc... Offensive is replaced my many new wepons. Easy. But, econimics (still worng) is replaced by new jobs science abilitys ( sort of like a mini skill) and exportation. POLICYS AND RULES (SO FAR) : Well first of all we should allow three different kinds of accounts staff company and indivuidal. Staff is for staff like my self olny. Company is for mulipal people to use liek a third party website or just a pair of good friends. It has a password for everybody on it and any of these may be used to play it but. All of the passwords together must be used to change another pass r to make major changes like setting a bank pin. Indivudal accounts are obivous ( spelt worng) and are not having to be explained. ( at least not here) Also policy on real world trading of course you can't enforce this to much but there is no real world trading not though us BUT there IS real world trading though us possibly so we may regulate prices and how much money is bought. IMPORTANT ABOUT NPCS AND JOBS (below): A player can apply for jobs with shifts for things like gaurd if they wish. Jobs that are usally olny NPC jobs. But, it is not that simple they are awared the ability to not die while on a combat related job like gaurd and also are payed plus they get a xp bonus. The skills are: Mining Smithing Smelting Crafting Fishing Hunting Attack Defense Adss (basically advanced smithing) Ranging Cooking Woodcutting Healing Levling system: Is a simple xp system like most games that have levels and skills. But this game has 199 levels and each level only gets harder to advance to if you get through a certain stage. In most skills 10 levels are equal to a stage. Adss (as I am going to call it) Woodcutting and Crafting advance in 15 levels per stage! The chance of getting a bug goes down but stops going down at level 110 at witch it has dropped 0.08 percent every level before getting to only 1.2 percent.
