Hi,
Nice tutorials BTW :)
I do have one issue, I can't run the tracker program that came with part 2...
It wont’ run under Vista…
This is the error dialog message I get:
When I look at the event log I see this:
Any ideas?

I developed the tracker in vista, so it should work.
I suppose the problem is about MSVC 2005 redist.
Microsoft updated MSVC 2005 with a security update last July, and this installs a new version of the CRT (.4053). It's not easy to find the redist, this should be the correct link:

It seems like I have to download and install Qt, whatever that is...
Is the correct site to go to for this software?

Unluckly Qt version and compiler differ from the ones I'm using (it's 4.6 on MSVC 2008 vs 4.5.3 on MSVC 2005).
I didn't include the dlls because I don't know if it's legal... but it seems fine to redistribute the dlls.
Can somebody confirm it's legal?

Very nice, the 'compute note freq. instead of reading it from array' was pretty slick, will add a new angle to the way i look at synthmaking, not so much in the formula itself but in the concept behind it.
