Original posters able to rate their own posts

Original poster creating his/her own thread and then being able to rate the thread before any feedback is given. Is this an intended mechanic? Edit: I gave this a 1 star -- but truth be told it is somewhat disconcerting seeing a post with no replies already rated 5 stars by the OP.

Wow that's... yea that's not good. I trawled through the settings but it seems there's no option to dis-allow the OP from voting on their own content. Really don't understand how IPS let this one slip through. We have a new board update coming soon so hopefully this will be addressed but until then I've just disabled the star ratings entirely for now. Thanks for pointing this out
