I'm looking for a laptop to get. I'm looking for something pretty much future-proof that I'll be able to use for quite a few years. Right now I'm thinking about the Lenovo W530 with these specs:

3rd Gen i7 3.6 GHz
15.6" 1920x1080 FHD display
NVIDIA Quadro K2000M GPU (2 gigs vram)
16 GB RAM

Eventually I'd like to get an SSD for it too. Does that sound like it will be good for a few years? What would you recommend?

They used to list the Lenovo W520 as an alternative to a 15-inch MacBook Pro, but it seems they no longer do. Not sure why.
