Hello everyone! If you ever wanted your music recorded with a live orchestra but felt intimidated by high cost of hiring one - this opportunity is for you!

East Coast Scoring provides great orchestral recording at indie-friendly rates. On top of this, we can also group multiple composers in a single session so you can split the cost and make it even more affordable. Find out more at www.eastcoastscoring.com

This looks like a really great offering, thanks for sharing and working to make this more accessible to those without vast budgets. I'll definitely keep this in mind, a proper orchestra would be a great addition to a project I have in early stages.

I'm curious how the rights of the recording are structured -- does the client receive full rights over the recorded piece, or is it shared or exclusively licensed back to the client? For example, if one does a recording for a game, but later decides to put out a CD soundtrack as a separate product, pre-order bonus, or pack-in extra, would they be in their rights to use the recording in both ways, or would they have to negotiate the rights to do so?

Hello Ravyne, apologies for the late reply.

The short answer is that in general, the recordings are buy-outs (no secondary fees). If you'd like more information, please feel free to email me through the website!
