It is most probably old news for the veteran VS6.0 developpers around here, yet newcomers may not be aware that updates to M$''s development suite are available for download there. Of particular note are: Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 5, a series of bugfixes. Visual C++ Processor Pack which adds compiler support for the newer processors. They will not save flawed algorithms, but extra optimization (and SSE support) is always welcome. Be warned that the service pack is a hefty download (133MB) and is required to apply the processor pack.
