Hi, I''m new here. I read the tutorial from NeHe and I''m trying draw a triangle and square. It''s no problem when running in windows mode. When I switch to fullscreen mode, the shapes show up but the color became navy(it should be white). So I tried to add the line "glColor3f(1.0f,1.0f,1.0f)" just before drawing the two shapes, what happened, it still navy. The strange thing is I tried another color(red), and now the shapes are gone(black, same color with background). I have no idea what''s going on, it displaed fine in windows mode. I''m using windows xp with voodoo 5 video card. Could anyon help? Thanks

Hmm, bad news. I have heard of a lot of people with Voodoo cards having problems, usually with... you guessed it, colors and textures. I dunno why, but apparently OpenGL don''t like 3dfx too much. I don''t have one myself, so I don''t ''know'' this.

Well, problem solved.
I download the CA Voodoo3/4/5 driver from:
http://www.voodoofiles.com/
(the 3rd party driver)

simply change the Gamma setting from 3dfx tools after installed
the driver for XP.
Now the color seems OK running in fullscreen mode.
Glad you solved your problem, now I gotta solve mine. (Durn 3D physics!)
