How do you find the solution to an equasion... oh say: 2^i On my graphing calculator, it gives me some weird ass complex number (about 0.769238 + 0.638961276i). How do those smart math-type people know that exactly? Is there some way to calculate these crazy numbers? Any help is thnx. "I''''m not evil... I just use the power of good in evil ways."

2i = eln(2^i) = ei*ln(2)
= cos(ln(2)) + i * sin(ln(2)) = 0.769238 + 0.638961276i
Oh! It''s so simple now! I woulda never thought of that! Thnx much.
