Backstory game

Check out my post! I've written out a pretty detailed back story and justification for my galaxy's aliens.

On another note, I need to come up with names for things. Planets, colonies, what these various populations call themselves, stars and systems, ships, governments, gah. so Many names. One of the more important ones is likely to be the title of the game, so if you want to play the lotto, you guys could help me come up with names and maybe yours will be the one that ends up naming the game too.

You could always just gather up a bunch of Sci-Fi location names and feed them to a markov name generator and see what pops out. Keep the ones you like

For names of places, I would go through Google Earth and maybe even wikimapia, and pick a region with suitably alien sounding place names for each of the species. Alter the spelling rules a little bit, and you have a ready set of names waiting. Like: Arvaikheer.

For Ships and the name of the project and random other things that need verbs, I would roll different words from titles you like (or even words you like) through a thesaurus.

Most importantly, stick every cool name/ phrase you can find into a word document so you have it for later.
