We have sound

I have written a wrapper around DirectSound to take care of the sound.
I have also background music which was taken from http://www.nosoapradio.us/
I am currently working on a Options screen which allows to disable/enable the SFX and music channels and also set the respective volumes.

It was my understanding the recommended API was XAudio since WinXP 2.

I wasnt aware that XAudio could be used for PC's. I was under the impression that XAudio was mainly for XBOX development. Somehow, I missed that XAudio2 replaced DirectSound and XAudio.

Thanks for tip. I will add replacing DirectSound with XAudio2 to my TODO list. Atleast, I wont have to change much except for the API calls :)
