This is the concept story for a 3D MMORPG a small team and i are making with Valve Source. To check up on progress go here If you wanna get involved with Red Online look here Disclaimer: A few of these names are 'working names' only. 600 years ago the Troll Nation plot to take over Horadria using the dark god Hexar failed. The great nations of Kudan, Kai, Gretch, Araby and Flor united and through fierce battle managed to save their citizens from eternal slavery. After being forced to build and maintain the immense bridges connecting the five continents of Horadria for eternity, the scattered Troll Nation lay in ruins. Yet even they could not conceive what plague had been unleashed during Hexar's brief manifestation on the material plane.... The 5th Continent of Taska has been poisoned. The Ancient Terah race that once shared Taska with the trolls had since the dawn of time acted as Horadria's care takers. Often in the realms history the Terah had stepped in between inter racial quarrels acting as shepard and minding the young nations of Horadria. But the Terah mysteriously disappeared before the great battle and had not returned. With Horadria's Care takers gone there was no one to sense Haxar's poison seeping into the land of mortals. Taska has become a breeding pool for the scum of the land. Orcs, Deamons and Dragons swell and grow bold with their numbers. Raids on the civilized lands are becoming ever more frequent and with the Terah gone the great nations relations begin to fray. These are truly dark times! It is time for the heroes of Horadria to prove their worth! Heroes must scour the lands for the answer to this mystery. They must travel to Taska and cure the land of its blight. Not to mention unravel the secret tale of the Terah! Players will be able to play: The Kudo: On the central continent of Kudan live the people of Kudo. Much like humans they concern themselves with farming and nation building. The Kudo are brave and valiant warriors using tactics and technology/majick along with their brawn to wage war. Their capitol city of Roke in the centre of the kingdom is nicknamed "The Jewl of Kudo" and is one of the fairest in the land, its cobled streets were once said to be paved with Adaman (a precious metal) and the sky inside the city glows with majick cast by the Kudo Magi. The Kai: In the south of Kudan over the Aerius mountain range lies the kingdom of the Kai. It is said the Kai are descended from the Kudo but after an argument left and headed for the mountains. Who knows what 800 year old secret Kai scholars could disclose. The Kai live in the mountains and beyond in small villages or great temples and Fortresses carved and built from the mountains. They are a proud but honorable people and so never use long range weapons even to hunt for food. This is the reason for their legendary swordsmanship. Riding Yak and wearing terrifying Deamon armor they hunt Orcs in war party’s with terrifying ferocity. Other than Orcs the Kai are the most warlike race of Horadria. The Flor: To the east of Kudan lies the small continent of Flor. The Flor always tended to deal with the other nations very rarely. They are masters of majick and children of nature. The Flor of old (often refered to as Ancient Elves) had no settlements. They wondered the lush woodlands of their native island giving back to nature what they took. But the Flor have changed. Now they grow villages in the sacred glades and amass possessions. Young Flor are even traveling to Kudan to 'see the world'. Flor constantly despair. It is said that this is because they are in fact descended from the cursed angel Azreal, thrown from the gates of heaven to the lands of the mortal and destined only for hell. This legend is the accepted explanation for the Flor undefined age limit. The Araby: The western continent of Araby is a treacherous land. It is a land of sand and fire. The Siht Gabandi Dessert divides the islands scattered nomadic camps and the cities brigands and thieves call home. The Araby are either thieves or merchants making their land rife with ancient and valuable majick masterpieces. Rumors rise of a new kingdom emerging naming itself "Ancient Arabia". Ancient Arabia's radical religious views require the worship of their god almost constantly and it is said their god gifts his devout followers a new majick never before seen in Horadria. Arabia is also home to the intriguing Mystra race. Little i known about them except their love of mechanics. They scurry out of their hidden homes in the dunes to trade for parts needed to make their machines. Coming out disguised and at dark their short figures are occasionally seen selling/trading alchemical products at the Araby markets. Most are afraid of the Mystra and many tell stories of them slaying enemies with a single bang of black powder from their outlandish contraptions. [Edited by - bam104 on March 20, 2006 9:07:52 AM]

Cool game. Hey did you want to name the Kudo kodo but didnt because warcraft took it.
Nah just Kudo, the land is called Kudan hehe.
Names-wise its mainly Horadria (blatently stolen off diablo lolz) that we need to change.

The Story team and i have been working on some crazy twists that really add complexity. Im not gonna disclose them because i eventually want players to try and suss them all out hehe.

I will just say, Hexar isnt all he seems, and the same goes for the Terah.
