Probably the flashiest help wanted ad I've ever seen here. Good luck ;)

Well you got my attention with the unusual post in any case, it really shows some effort. I can imagine your post would probably be difficult for any dialup users though. [lol]

DogCity and Export are regulars around Help Wanted and have always presented themselves very professionally, and I'm sure they'll produce a great product. Give this one some consideration if you think you can help out!

Much appreciated Numsgil and very big thanks for the sticky, Kazgoroth! It's a little mad isn't it? We felt like trying something a bit different. Originaly it was just going to be an ultra graphical layout with HTML text, but that ended up being too tricky to repoduce, and because of (what I guess to be) a fairly even split in themes between black and white, it had to be PNG 24. Oh well. [grin]

Any 56K'ers are invited to check our more dial-up friendly ad on export-games.com.

I've also just added some new content to the 'Previews' section, giving a quick list of features implimented so far.

Hey man, that's the most attention grabbing help wanted post I've ever seen! Just thought i'd point out a few spelling errors: excelent, impliment. But i'm sure that doesn't matter, your game still looks like fun; can't wait to see more progress!

Glad you liked it, I'd normally push this through a spell checker but it's format made it very tricky. I'll look out for the ones you mentioned before I post onto other forums, cheers!

STATUS: Bandwidth freakout - that's what you get for posting mb's of data on multiple high traffic sites [sad], images will be back in a few hours.

I moved the images over to my gamedev hosting, but export-games.com still suffering!

I know I'll get a warning for this, or a drastic decrease in my rating, but i wanted to point this out: threads that get pinned seem to get less responses as they are lost amidst the other posts/announcements.

I don't know why you're worried about a warning for that one, it's a valid point, although I would appreciate any further mention being taken to it's own thread or another medium so as to avoid cluttering DogCity's thread further.

Unfortunately there's no real way of keeping a sticky thread in a certain position, and I'm yet to come up with a nice alternative that's viable.

Agreed, I don't think that's too controversial! However, it's also a great endorsement of the project and a helluva lot easier to keep on the front page while its stickied [wink].

How goes the recruitment drive?

Going well thanks, we have two new members who are helping out with server and tool development.

I'm still interested to hear from artists and programmers who might like to help out in all the areas advertised.
