Thud is a foot-tall elf like creature that at any given point weighs about a pound. He wears a red cloak with yellow trimming on top of a blue tunic and is often seen wearing his oversized pointed hat that droops and drags behind him. He's very energetic and excitable, but rarely clumsy. He's a voracious carnivore that wouldn't take long to strip a whole-roasted bull to bone, but as he travels, he begins to appreciate the distinctive flavors of the other food groups.

Because of his unique stature, he can be very nimble and traverse areas, terrain, and surfaces few others can at great speeds. However, he's most known for his innate magical ability to create bombs. They can range from small cherry bombs that burst on contact to large bombs as big as he is that only explode after several seconds. He can use his bombs in a great number of ways like for traversing more hazardous terrain, to shield himself from the front, or to even reach great heights thanks to his special parachute-like hat. As he's upgraded, he'll eventually add more diverse bombs to his arsenal, such as a Super Bomb that can damage normally indestructible enemies. However, unlike his normal bombs, he's not immune to this one, so he must handle with care. Because he's so small, it's easy for enemies to lose sight of him even without employing stealth tactics, but this is ineffective against bosses and enemies with strong perceptive abilities.

Thud comes from Huge Hills, a place where everything that's normally big is very small, and everything that's normally small is very big. He has a family composed of two pairs of grandparents, his parents, five sisters and three brothers that each take on roles to ensure their survival and wellbeing. Because he's the only one with combat abilities, he's in charge of hunting, a full-time job considering his kind's appetite. One day, when he was out hunting giant field mice, his family was captured by a traveling down-on-their-luck circus promoter, and he joins the other protagonists in the hope of rescuing them.

Having ideas is one thing but the means to make them real is quite another. But at the very least, you can have fun talking about them.
