Hi,

Me and a partner of mine are planning on having a football/soccer manager game developed. We know almost nothing about the technical side of developing games. We would like the game to have a bit of an oldschool vibe, so no fancy modern graphics. A bit like the game in the Youtube vid below.

Do you guys have any idea how long it would take to build something like that? Does it need to be developed from scratch or are there some engines/templates already available to build on? And what would the cost be to hire developers to build something like this?

Any advice or tips are welcome!
