The only “AI” I respect is an expert system or a massive prolog-like knowledge database system with statistical analysis that lets you query something and it can offer you an answer, a statistical confidence, and the series of deductions it had to perform to get to that answer, as well as the sources it used. But that's more like an interactive encyclopedia with actual reasoning skills, and not like a heavily compressed blackbox trained on ridiculous amounts of data to perform pattern prediction.
