Is Paper2D really easy to use?

I have seen some tutorials of it, and i have to say i'm kind of displeased.

I have seen it requires just too many work for a simple jump-walk-fall action even in Blueprint mode. Less, it even asks you a lot to turn your textures into Paper2D assets a LOT. I have PaperZD installed, but i can't even figure out how to use it.

Any other game engines that are DESIGNED FOR 2D AND COME WITH LIGHTING OPTIONS?

No, i currently don't want 3D engines.

<void> lmao

<void> -Cato or some other dude idk

WHY IS INDIE DEV SO HARD TO START????

Determination and drive can get you there. Looking for easy solutions and whining will never get you there.

Nobody is making you do this. Do or not do, quitcher juvenile attitude and try or not try.

Don't know about Paper2D specifically, but as a general approach to such problems: If you don't understand what you're trying to do, scale down to something smaller.

Without understanding you won't get anywhere. You may have to scale down several times.

Once you understand the small thing, you can scale up again and try something a bit larger. Eventually you “get the idea” of it, and it all starts making sense.
