It always depends on the class and course. I hate any math-related courses like Calculus, Algebra, Stats, etc, but others like management, economics, psychology are good to attend. Also the professor plays a majoy role.

Most of the math profs just write stuff on the board or overhead and ofcourse we gotta copy the stuff down so fast, otherwise we miss the notes. Now that means we can''t listen to what they say. So what I usually do is if I can get the notes any other way, I just skip the lecture and just read the notes some other time. I do try to go to lecture and just listen but its also frustrating sometimes as they are all over the place and dont know how to teach properly.

Profs dont make good teachers at all.
