Does anybody have any idea why OR signs get turned into slashes on this board? I mean, I know it''s the board software, but WHY is the board programmed to do that? I can''t think of any reason you''d want it to do such a thing... lntakitopi@aol.com - http://www.geocities.com/guanajam

Possibly somebody is "overly paranoid" that using pipe symbols could be
a security risk. UBB boards use them to separate data like names and
passwords. But this board uses ASP, not perl, so I can''t see any reason
why they should extract them out.

Well as long as gamedev doesn't screw up. Also, the |'s are stored as |'s and only showed up as \'s or /'s.
