So basically we just need to read through the first 3 chapters in XNA 3.0 book on our own?

Yes, we are. If you have any questions, feel free to post them on the respective thread.
Yes and follow along with the exercises. If you have time it would probably be an advantage to play around with what you have done
Read through the first 3 chapters, as well as my supplemental materials. Then take a look at the source code for the chapter. Tweak it, modify it, get familiar with it. Toward the end of the week I'll provide review questions to help you measure your understanding.

In future weeks I may also assign exercises to try out - but at this point you can only create a new project so many times, so no exercises this week. There will also be about 4 month-long projects to work on. I'll assign the first at about 4 weeks into the workshop.

Also make sure you're reading over the forum discussions. See if others have the same questions as you, and if not, see if you can answer theirs. They say teaching is the best way to learn. :)

Cheers!
