Oh, right, +1, thanks! But which post? Is that you or anyone else? Also, sorry for spamming in your half or really curious post thanks! I'm out!

"Finally! He out!"

Craap, you mr...!

You posted six posts in rapid succession, each only a few sentences long, none of the posts add value to the discussion we are having, and more than half of them are completely off topic and derailing the conversation. sad.png
That's probably why one person -1'd two of your posts - because this is a forum for in-depth discussion, not a chat room. Different types of communication (forums, chat rooms, emails, phone calls, real-life conversations) call for different types of social behavior.

Over 300 people (almost 3000 views) read this thread. If one person downvotes you, it's not a big deal. It should make you stop and think 'What can I do better?', but it shouldn't send you into a panic.

I am not a moderator, just a community member. If you want to discuss your rating, could you do so in a new thread - perhaps over in this area, so you don't accidentally sabotage this game design conversation we are having?

Please don't respond to this post - it'll just derail the thread further. Feel free to -1 this post though, if you feel it is unhelpful or rude.
If you wish to talk about it, start a new thread and we could discuss it there. smile.png

And for the record, I was not the person who downvoted you.

Any time you join a new community, it takes some time to fit into the culture there. Every internet community has a slightly different culture - GameDev.net has somewhat higher standards that most internet forums, so it takes time to adjust. wink.png
