So I've started a little game about an egg shaped pig. It was originally called Pixel Pig, but since that name's taken I'm going with McPiglet.

What do you folks think? Would you play it?

What did I just watch? There's no gameplay shown, why would I want to play it? Could you be more specific in what kind of feedback you're looking for?

That's the intro screen. You'll have to use your imagination as to what it's going to be like, and this imaginative feedback is what I am looking for.

Hey, to be able to put out even a demo screen is commendable enough. So, good show mate. I just don't know what feedback to give you at this point coz youre not showing any gameplay at the moment.

Well, to play a platformer, either the gameplay must be really impressive or the setting must be interesting.

Your setting is not interesting enough for me and there's no gameplay to watch, so I think that it is a generic platformer with generic game mechanism.

Sorry, but I wouldn't play it.

Hmm, interesting feedback.

What if I introduced the notion of a school-bus chicken that launches kitties?

or a giant robotic kitty that attacks McPiglet on top of a large building, but then its paw partially explodes?

I'm guessing you're running some sort of experiment, not sure what you think you'll get out of it. Based on what I've seen, which are some animated and static graphics without gameplay, I wouldn't play it.

In the game world, we call "experiments" = demos.

Are there any artists on here that think they could improve the character?

Hello technos, please read the two pinned threads at the top of this forum. For your character designs it would be best to post in the Virtual Arts forum on this site. Best luck with your game!
