Hi! My name is David and for the last 5 years I had a lot of links as bookmarks in my web browser related to Game Development resources but I never really took the time to order them. That's why I decided to make this huge list where I grouped all the links like this:

This list includes the following groups:
Graphics (2D & 3D)
Code
Brainstorm
Design
Fonts
Textures
Video
Audio
Controls
Project Management
Business
Narrative
and more...
You can sort lists by popularity, get notifications and even directly suggest links to any group.
I hope you can find this list helpful for your gamedev related work. Thanks!

Great list, thanks!

I was expecting another generic GameDev post asking for bullet lists, but what you got there is genuinely useful and impressive! Bookmarking for sure!
Comrade, Listen! The Glorious Commonwealth's first Airship has been compromised! Who is the saboteur? Who can be saved? Uncover what the passengers are hiding and write the grisly conclusion of its final hours in an open-ended, player-driven adventure. Dziekujemy! -- Karaski: What Goes Up...

Great list, thank you very muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Could you rearrange this so that it is more like <category> (new page) (list) ?

The link you gave was very slow to load.

Audacity - free sound / music editor with recording capabiilities

Wood Workshop - free wood texture maker ( very good )

Gentex - free 'genetic' seamless texture generator ( good for abstract textures )

Imagelys Picture Styles - free to 'try' forever - very good at making seamless textures from an image

Google Sketchup - 3D engineering and architecture modeling tool

OpenMPT - Useful if you use a lot of old fashion multi track music files.

I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me.

Awesome. Knew about many of them, but quite a lot of stuff I didn't know about. Definitely bookmarked and greatly appreciated.

Blender is missing from the list, and I think this wonderful site would be a nice addition. Maybe a list of IDEs (moving your Eclipse entry)?

I almost had a heart attack hahaha, Blender is in the list in the "3D Modeling" section :)
