I would like to say congratulations to all the stakeholders in the Week of Awesome III.

Regardless of the eventual results, each and every person who has participated in this competition has in their own way contributed time and effort that in no small way contributes to the continuing growth of not only this annual event, but to the gamedev.net site as well the larger gamedev community. It is my sincere hope that I will see you all return for next year's Week of Awesome IV.

For those who joined the Gamedev.net site to participate in this week of sleep addled brain fever....Welcome....and do stick around!

First of all I'd like to thank everyone that was involved in organizing or sponsoring this competition. I'd to thank all the reviewers in advance, hope you'll have a great time trying all the games out. Last but not least, thank you all for participating, it's been a pleasure.

I think you've missed all my cross posts, not that it really matters as I won't be anywhere near the top, but it makes me look better as a person :P:

Hello to all my stalkers.

"The code you write when you learn a new language is shit.
You either already know that and you are wise, or you don’t realize it for many years and you are an idiot. Either way, your learning code is objectively shit." - L. Spiro

"This is called programming. The art of typing shit into an editor/IDE is not programming, it's basically data entry. The part that makes a programmer a programmer is their problem solving skills." - Serapth

"The 'friend' relationship in c++ is the tightest coupling you can give two objects. Friends can reach out and touch your privates." - frob

hey guys, I put my game in the Game Jolt, and it's on the home page biggrin.png ... you guys can rate there and help, please <3

For the most part the judging criteria are exactly like mine, but it looks like slicer took some rephrasing liberties. My original version said ...and you made a Sudoku game? I thought about phrasing it exactly like that to take a friendly jab at rithamus for last year's entry, but I wasn't sure that I knew him well enough for friendly jabs to be interpreted that way. :)

Great job everyone, I plan to play all of your games tonight but you should all be proud of what you have accomplished irregardless of the results.

Also, thank you to the organizers, supporters, and sponsers. It takes a lot of effort to put one of these things together and it is taxing on the organizers & participants family and close relations.

I am hoping to post a video postmortem in the next few days where I will be discussing some interesting topics with regards to the "Army of the Undead".

Remember to mark someones post as helpful if you found it so.
