I think my insomnia is coming from my constant want to do pixel art lol. I decided to take a stab at a game character and it turned out exactly like I wanted it to. Hooray!

So, without further ado, I introduce Derek:

Edit: Why do browsers disregard the file's frame speed? Also, check out my last entry if you have no clue what is going on.

It turned out perfect and I got the front and back animation done is less than an hour. Although, the left and right animations are what usually give me problems.

I also got Malathedra stuff done today to. WHAT? Yup, I actually did my job. Not a ton of progress, but more than what I've been getting done. Since I can't sleep I'm going to work on finishing up Bongo Beach and West Beach tonight.

I like the style you're going for. If you can keep that up consistantly for all of the game graphics, it's going to look-and-feel nifty. [smile]

That'll be the hard part. I think the only way I'm going to be able to do it is by just modifying the this one over and over. Most of my artwork lacks consistancy when I keep starting from scratch.

I also failed at making the left and right animations today. I'm going to take a look at some Pokemon sprites to see how they did it, since that's the perspective I'm going for.
