In the meantime, please try the current version (see previous post) and let me know what you think. I'm thinking of tweeking the difficulty too, so if people are finding it too hard or easy then leave a comment and I'll see what the verdict is.
Development on Snowman Village has slowed to a more sustainable pace now. [grin] I'm mostly doing bug fixes which I've spotted over the last few days (all pretty minor really). I'm going to aim for another release in a week, hopefully with sound and music, plus bug fixes and a bit more polish.

Awesome! I'm going to get more variety of decorations in next release, and hopefully let you rotate decorations when placing them on the snowman. That should make the snowman building aspect a bit more interesting. [grin]

Definatley a bit easier rolling now, but I still find that once you give yourself a major burst of speed to get over a jump, it is really hard to get control back again.
Also, I may be missing something but I picked up a couple of objects when I was rolling but when I hit Finish, I got my snowball back in the village but nothing to decorate my snowman with.
All that aside though, this game is fun.

What is it you find difficult in slowing down after a jump? I could make the click radius for the snowball larger than the snowball actually is, do you think that might help?

Actually yeah, I reckon that would help.
I was wondering if you actually need a set radius. Could you not just sort of click anywhere on the screen and have the snowball accelerate towards the cursor?
Just a thought. Don't know how well that would work.

I'm not too sure on that. The current controls are made so it feels like you're 'pushing' the snowball, as if you were rolling it yourself. Having it gravitate towards your mouse also gives the snowball a bit of intelligence which I don't think it should have.
I'll increase the click radius by a fair bit though, that should help things somewhat.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much if I'm complaining its too hard. My reflexes and motor skills are rubbish [grin].
