An Interesting Development

Well today was very interesting. My friend and I both have a few classes each week in which we both have no classes. We are not allowed leave the school, but there is nowhere we have to be and there is nothing we have to be doing. My friend is insanely creative and really skilled with music and art and since I am a moderately capable programmer he suggested that we make a demo. We just have to pass this project by a few authorities and we will be able to do it during those free classes.

Which means that we have eight months to work on this cool project. I intend to use it as the first true entry in my portfolio if all goes according to plan. The first step is to come up with a concept or theme for the demo. Once we have that we are going to storyboard every scene and work out exactly what has to be done and how we are going to do it. Should be fun.

Kernel Chaos may go on the back burner but I will still work on it when I'm not working on the demo. I won't drop it but most of my attention will be on the demo for the forseable future. On the plus side I should be able to use what I learn from the demo and make Kernel Chaos better than I would have been otherwise have been able to.
