Well I finally got the broadband hooked up, which means I can share some progress shots finally!

I added a few different weather effects to Rescue Squad, all of which have some kind of gameplay affect as well as visually making it more interesting. The rain shown here consists of a high cloud layer (making it harder to see who you're rescuing) and up to 2000 rain particles which are spawned in an area around the camera. Flying in rain slows you down slightly and increases your fuel consumption, so you've got to act faster and make more trips back and forth to pick everyone up.

When/if I get multiple helicopter types added into the game some will be affected by rain more than others, so you might want to chose a slower, bulkier helicopter that isn't affected quite as much and has a big capacity.
