I REALLY like how the GUI is coming together, but this is the exact reason why I didn't want to start working on a 'codebase.' I've spent all day working on UI design, code issues, etc. when I don't really need to (the reason I'm spending a lot of time on it is because I'm adding it to my codebase and want it to be more generalized and flexible.) The UI for our project will be coded specifically for the game; when we're finished with it I'll salvage what I can and write the UI code from there.
I was going to post some more stuff after I got some work done, but sadly I wasted all of last night and this night. Oh well, I got to hang out with my niece before she moves away, so it wasn't a complete waste.
