So I've been hard at work at linking my 100 maps, I'm not sure if 100 maps will be enough though. What my plan is to work on the world maps right now and later on you will see a cave like in the screen shot below which you can enter. This will take you outside the world map into a cave map I will make. I have a lot of ideas right now but I'm just going to work on the world map until it's completed. I updated my design document for the world map and there will be these areas following their race:

Rockys:

Goblin Zone
Fire Dragon Zone
Fire Mage Zone
Thieves Zone
Barbarian Zone

Desert:

Sand Mage Zone
Wurm Zone
Sand Lizard Zone
Skeleton Zone

Grasslands:

Human Zone
Orc Zone
Raider Zone

Swamp:

Lizard Man Zone
Snake Zone
Necromancer Zone

Forest:

Elf Zone
Tribal People Zone
Druid Zone

Winter:

Ice Dragon Zone
Ice Mage Zone
Yeti Zone

Right now I'm getting to work on the Rocky area, this is a test with my tile set for the Goblin Zone.

NOTE: I WILL BE REVAMPING ALL GAME ART IN THE END.

So far everything is working out great! I've finished the following:

- 100 Maps Loaded
- 30 / 100 Maps Linked
- Draw 100 Maps

Right now I need to do this:

- Link the last 70 Maps
- Add Collision for each Map (This will be done as each area is done)
- Add an Enemy Layer to the World Map

Well I got a lot of work to do, so back to the grind stone!

Your latest screenshot for some reason reminds me of "The Blair Witch Project." Rather than a typical fantasy rpg with goblins and such, it seems you could make a good witch horror adventure game... that'd be different.

Just a thought. :)

Goblins in this game dwell within the Rockys in caves. They use spears and skulls on stands as warnings not to enter their areas. The graphics may not match that setting yet, however I'm not spending a lot of time on the graphics until the world map is finished and all the areas have been determined.

A horror RPG would be a great idea, just not something I will do with this project. I'm sticking with my plan and design for now. Thanks for the suggestion though! :)

Good work! But I was wondering how u are linking the maps? And by enemy layer is that something that u will edit in the map editor to add the enemies? Sorry for the questions..I just am redesigning my tile engine and am trying to get ideas..

Haha, well at least someone's interested in my stuff. I'm done the video, so I just need to export it and upload it. I will make a new entry within 10 minutes with the video. Hopefully you can hear me good, I still have the flu a bit so my voice might be weird when I talk.
