Greetings all,

It's been a while, but due to the influence of several gamedev.net members I've decided to re-subscribe to GDNet+ and bring my journal back.

So what are you going to be journaling about?

Game engine development, and the development of Morning's Wrath 2;
many of you may remember my journaling about Morning's Wrath 1 way back in 2005 and before; in addition to our second game The Lost City of Malathedra, which was released in 2008.

So what has 2009 brought?

Lots of great things, for one, I am now married to my wife, Jacki Jacobs; we had a beautiful wedding in Gloucester MA.

For another, EDIGames has been gearing up for what hopefully will be a nice boom in our output; namely the development of the Selenite Engine.

With this engine we'll be developing our 3rd generation of games, so far that is Morning's Wrath 2 and Static: Investigator Training

In my next post I'll talk more about the Selenite Engine, and it's benefits.

Congratulations on getting married

I'm glad you're getting back to the Morning's Wrath world, as LCOM was far too frustrating for me to enjoy.
