I'm pleased to announce that the GDNet+ member webspace is now fully back online - and, for the first time in about 3 years, accessible by FTP once more!

Just FTP into members.gamedev.net, using your regular username and password, to access your personal space. Old GDNet+ members should find all their files ready and waiting for them. We've also increased the space quota to 100MB per user, and we'll look at increasing this further as things get settled in.

Anything you upload into your webspace is accessible over HTTP, too...

Old GDNet+ members can browse to the same addresses that they've always used. We'll probably be retiring these addresses at some point, but we'll make sure we let you know before we do.

New GDNet+ members, log in, and browse your way to https://www.gamedev.net/subscribe - take a look at the bottom of the page for your address info.

Very nice, it's interesting because I had some gripes about the features of the GDNet+ accounts with the new site the first week of the update. I didn't say anything though and I waited. You guys have addressed every single problem I had and then jazzed things up even more, bravo good sirs, bravo.

You'll need to access the site using FTP at least once before the webspace link will work.

As far as I can see you didn't have any files hosted under the old version of the site?

Well if you've not uploaded any files to the FTP, there'd be nothing to view at that HTTP address anyway

Hmm. I can see all your files and mappings are in place. Which FTP client are you using?

Remember that FTP is case-sensitive - your username is 'alexmoura' - and that the password is identical to your forum password, it's not the separate 'FTP password' that used to be in place on the old site.

ftp under windows 7 command prompt. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it with the proper case, and the forum password.

Could you possibly send me a private message with your account password?
