3D modelling again

Just a quick image of the kind of model it is now getting possible (dare I say, easy and fun) to create with Charm now a lot of the irritations are being ironed out. Nothing like writing a piece of software to actually use yourself to make you focus on the minutea.

Need to get a very cartoony character in my game to stop myself accidentally trying to write 2D Tomb Raider.

The finished product in game, rigged and the walk and idle animations done. Just got about 8 other animations to (re)implement now smile.png

And since I have finally figured out how to attach more than one image to a journal post, let's celebrate with a shot of the animation system in action in Charm with my new friend, keyframing for the walking animation.

Its good fun to have written a model editor from scratch, then finally have an animated character running around in a game, yeah. Total reinvention of wheels all over, but tremendously satisfying.
