I was saying self awareness is the ability to watch detach and observe what others are thinking of you. We know what other people that we are familiar with think even if they don`t express their thoughts/feelings in an explicit fashion. Basically once we have become familiar with a person`s character we will have a virtual model of them in our head and will query that model with questions and recieve answers from if even if the actual person is nowhere near by.

It is interesting to note that we sleep although our brain is functioning we are not `aware`, basically one out of the two processors (the one observing the inputs and outputs) is off.
