The Right Tool for the Right Job..

The other day I was sitting down getting generally frusterated over the stereotypes floating around about game development. The silliness of me doing this aside, I was mainly focusing on the misconception that people use high-level tools like game-creators or high-level programming langauges (DarkBasic, BlitzBasic, etc) are retarded.

There's lots of people hanging out on their Pedestal of Programming Knowledge (+2) that scorn those who don't use C++ for every line of code they write. If any. This just isn't the case -- all tools have their purpose in the world of game development. The real game developers are the ones that know which tool to use at the right time. :)

And so I present,
