My days are numbered...

I've probably mentioned it before, but I'm currently doing an industrial placement as part of a CompSci course at uni...

Being a placement I always knew exactly what date I was leaving on (Friday 29th July). Today my replacement started, got about 3 weeks to do skills transfer.

Just that odd realisation that I only have 3 weeks until I leave this place never to return. Always knew it was gonna happen, but now it's the end-game...

I'm gonna be spending most of my time just getting the new guy up-and-running. What this effectively means is that my best work is probably behind me now due to not having time to implement any new features to make my superiors go [wow]!

So, the new guy takes ownership of my project and effectively has to carry on where I leave off. Time to start hiding those not-quite-so-perfect pieces of code [lol]

Fire up the obfuscator script. [grin] Give the new guy a little bit of a mental workout trying to figure out what the hell kind of crack you were smoking when you wrote all that code.
