A new update coming

We are going to release a new update soon, which will fix some of the bugs that got through, and add a few new maps, monsters, various GUI improvements, and support for items cooldown.

An update pre release test was made avaiable today, and so far no one had problems with it (except for some expected problems).

Meanwhile, the two creators of the modified/illegal client are doing some 'patriotic work' for us, and their progress is really nice. One has to implement a minimap in the game, while the other is doing some php work.

A few people got banned the last week for talking garbage about the moderators and developers in their guild channel. Some of those that didn't talk that much garbage were unbanned, but many are still banned and there is no way in hell I will ever unban them.

Right now I am working at making the server range (that is, who can see who) asymetric. This means that one player will be able to see another, but not the other way around. For example, if omeone stays in the dark he will be able to see those staying in the light, but not the other way around.

Sometimes people need to be banned. If the authority figures were to not demonstrate their ability to control illegal activities there would be an increase in those activities.

Taking this concept further I say that you should just ban ALL of your members. This way you don't have to worry about any of them doing anything wrong. [grin]

Yeah, that would work fine :)
Of course, the income from the game will also drastically decrease :)
