Been working flat-out all day on the 'HDR Demo' in an attempt to get the package tidied up and in a generally perfect condition for Friday. I'm absolutely shattered.

I got a 3D artist that I know (David Wortley) to improve my lame programmer art that you've seen in the current release of 'HDR Demo':

I think I'm gonna go work out how to burn a .iso file to a DVD. I wanna play with Windows Vista [smile]

Looks awesome; in fact your whole HDR demo project has been really inspirational. I'm not really in the 'shader-zone' myself, but since my video card can run it, nothing is stopping me from watching awe. ;)

BTW, what is a DirectX MVP exactly -- a DX evangelist or an actual Microsoft position? Is there a FAQ on it? I'm sure you get the question a lot. :P

I'll see what I can do. I got an invite to the proper beta program, and theres a lot of warnings about talking about stuff (reminds me of Fight Club: "The first rule of fight club: You do not talk about fight club" [lol]).

Thanks [grin] Really makes the work worthwhile when I hear comments like that!

I suppose 'evangelist' might be closest, but we're definitely not Microsoft employees - and we're not allowed to pretend that we are [smile]

No, not really... I gather that most people either know what it is already, or haven't got a clue and aren't really too interested [smile]
