As usual, programming 40 hrs per week and scheduling development around a social life is excruciatingly slow. However, I've made SOME progress. The graphics component is complete minus a few optimizations. This means that I can FINALLY integrate the GUI into the application framework and I can FINALLY build the nifty new console. Since the whole app is controlled through commands, the console will allow easier development and testing. That'll pretty much complete the framework of the game.

.....

Tonight, my girlfriend and I are chillin' with my friend and his new woman (he wanted to introduce her... awwww), so my time coding tonight is gonna be a bit limited. Since we'll be drinking margeritas, I'm sure I'll be unfit for coding tomorrow too. Luckily, I've reduced the rest of my work week to simple, repetitive tasks so I can just zone/nap at my workstation if I have to. ;-)

The new house is demanding more of my attention so dev time is getting limited. =( I'll be running a few graphical concepts as soon as I can get to it.
