So last night all of Southwest Texas was without power. Around 8:00pm last night something happened somewhere and everything from Comstock, TX down to Laredo, TX was without power. It really sucked... this was Del Rio last night:



See, all black. Huge blackout. Anyway, I couldn't get on the computer or watch TV or play games or anything! I was like...



This morning around 9:00am is when we got power back here at the house, however there are still thousands of people without power. One of the main concerns here in Del Rio is that the water treatment plant has no power.

It's odd, after the flood back in 98 or whatever, the city was mandated to put in a water treatment fascility, so they did, and in the plans were backup generators. Well, to save on costs, the city decided to nix the generators saying "We'll never need those." ...idiots.

Anyway, just thought I'd share my story with you all.
