lately i''m seeing alot of dupe news items on the front page... its kinda annoying as well since they''re basically advertisements. it was my understanding that there was a place on gdnet for ads, ect, and that the front page was for news... just a thought... techmod and Wonder Workers'' C++/QBasic Site are the most obvious and recent offenders, but i''ve seen it before.. didn''t know if they''d slipped thru the cracks or you guys have changed the site around -eldee ;another space monkey;

sorry eldee, but we have no written rules regarding the submission of news items. Therefore people are allowed to submit anything they like. Basically as long as it''s related to game development it''ll find its way into the news. True, the Techmod and Wonder Workers'' could be counted as advertisements but we can''t deny them the right to announce their presence in this fashion.
