any pointers as to which free compiler is the best for developing in win32...and ides also, no mfc required.

go to www.bloodshed.net and download dev-c++. it''s an ide for the gcc compiler. it''s pretty good.

Download gcc and MSYS for Windows and you have the best you can have in windows
