Hi, I am working on panning through my tile based world and I have experimented with many different ways to pan through them. My over all goal like everyone elses is to keep things fast and efficient. One thing I''m trying to do now is to re Blt a portion of the window at a specified panning offset and then Blt the loose tiles needed to fill in the spaces for the newly panned area. I am using Visual C++ with plain GDI. Can anybody help me on this subject? My main problem is trying to capture the proper elements of the hdc. Any help or advice will help me. THanks
